Andrew Koenig appeared as "Boner" in 1980's sitcom Growing Pains. He's the son of actor Walter Koenig, who played (Chekov on original Star Trek.)

VANCOUVER — The parents of missing American actor Andrew Koenig made an emotional public appeal Wednesday for help locating their 41-year-old son, who mysteriously disappeared nearly two weeks ago after visiting friends.
In a barely audible voice, Walter Koenig, also an actor known for his role as Pavel Chekov on the original Star Trek series, directly called on his son to contact them, imploring:
"We just want to know you are OK. You don't have to come back (to California), just let us know you are OK," he said, choking back tears.
The well-being of the actor, known for his role as Richard "Boner" Stabone on the popular television series Growing Pains, is of special concern because of the man's life-long battle with depression, the father said.
Koenig said his son was prescribed anti-depressants but stopped taking the medication about a year ago.
Both his father and mother, Judith Koenig, said they feared he may harm himself.
"We think he is in a very depressed state," the mother said, adding that their concern was heightened after learning recently that Koenig had begun giving away some of his personal possessions.
Standing next to a monitor displaying a recent photograph of her son with shoulder-length brown hair, Judith Koenig appealed to local residents and thousands of Olympic visitors to "search your mind" over the last two weeks on the chance that someone may have spotted their son on the street or even at one of the Olympic venues.
Police Constable Tim Fanning said investigators still believe Koenig, who once lived in Vancouver, remains in the area because he is familiar with the city and because of his relatively recent use — Feb. 16 — of a cellphone and bank card. He said the man had no prior history of drug or alcohol abuse.
Koenig was last seen Feb. 14; he was reported missing Feb. 18, after failing to return to California Feb. 16, on a scheduled flight from Vancouver.
With thousands of people in the city for the Olympics, Fanning said the large crowds could be hindering the search. He said investigators completed a search of Stanley Park, a 1,000-acre urban open space that Koenig favored while living here, but found nothing.
"There is no fresh place for us to search unless we get more information in," Fanning said.
Since Koenig's disappearance was made public Sunday, posters bearing his photograph have been appearing on street light poles and in storefront windows in some of the most highly trafficked areas of the city.
Fanning says dozens of officers, including a search-and-rescue team from North Vancouver, have been working the case. And all of Vancouver's 1,400 officers, most working Olympic-related duties, also are watching for him, the constable said.
"We are just hopeful that he is safe and sound," Fanning said.
Walter and Judith Koenig said they will remain in the city for the next several days to do "anything we can" to locate their son.
"You are loved," the mother said, calling out to her son. "You count and you matter."

Father's Emotional Plea to Andrew Koenig: 'Are You Okay?'

Fighting tears, Walter Koenig looked into the news cameras on Wednesday desperately hoping his missing son was watching.
"I just want to know you're okay," he said in the emotional appeal to Andrew Koenig, the Growing Pains star who disappeared earlier this month. "If it means you just want to stay here, that's okay. You don't have to come back. Just let us know that's your intention."

Walter Koenig, also an actor – he played Mr. Chekov on the original Star Trek TV show and movies – was joined by wife Judith at the televised press conference at the Vancouver Police Department.

Police say the younger Koenig was last seen in the British Columbia city on Feb. 16, the same day his phone and ATM activity stopped. The search most recently went to a Vancouver park he frequented, but mounted officers found no sign of the 41-year-old Koenig.

Koenig, who had long battled depression, cleared out his Los Angeles apartment about three weeks ago before traveling to Vancouver, where he once lived. Constable Tim Fanning says police were hopeful Koenig was still in the area and "doesn't want to be found."

Jennifer Lopez was born and grew up in Castle Hill, a neighborhood in the Bronx, New York, to Puerto Rican parents Guadalupe Rodríguez, a kindergarten teacher, and David Lopez, a computer specialist.[4] She has two siblings, Lynda and Leslie. After months of auditioning for dance roles, Lopez was selected as a dancer for various rap music videos, a 1990 episode of Yo! MTV Raps and as a backup dancer for the New Kids on the Block and their performance of their song "Games" for the American Music Awards in 1991. She gained her first regular high-profile job as a "Fly Girl" dancer on the television comedy program In Living Color in 1990. Soon after, Lopez became a backup dancer for Janet Jackson and made an appearance in her 1993 video "That's the Way Love Goes"

Jessica Alba distressed by fan's attempt to look like her

Jessica Alba distressed by fan's attempt to look like her

The actress said Saturday she's been distressed by Internet reports about a Chinese woman who is having a plastic surgery makeover to look like Alba in hopes of getting her lover back.

"I think you should never have to change yourself like that," Alba said. "If
somebody loves you, they'll love you no matter what."

Alba, who is starring in the upcoming film "Valentine's Day," is in town for the
Super Bowl; she was at an Audi party Friday with Hilary Swank, Taylor Lautner, Rob Lowe, New York Giant Osi Umenyiora and former New England Patriot Tedy Bruschi. It was one of numerous celebrity soirees attached to the Super Bowl.

But she's not just in town to party — she and hubby Cash Warren will be at Sunday's game. They hired a baby sitter to take care of their infant daughter, Honor, for the big game, but they've been spending the week enjoying Miami with their little girl.

"So far, she likes all the lights. Every time somebody honks or she hears sirens or
something, she points everything out," she said. "It's really fun. Lots of screaming,
lots of lights, and lots of cars. The most stimulating environment for a 19-month-old."

Valentine's Day: Jessica Alba, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher attend London premiere

Hollywood stars Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore braved Arctic temperatures in London's Leicester Square for the premiere of new romantic comedy Valentine's Day.

The 28-year-old Alba - who plays Kutcher's fiancee in the movie, which was directed by Pretty Woman's Garry Marshall - confessed she was freezing as she jokingly huddled inside Kutcher's overcoat while they posed for pictures on the red carpet.
After donning a black overcoat with sparkling gem epaulettes, Alba admitted she was a ''romantic'' at heart and revealed: ''The best Valentine's Day I have ever had is every Valentine's Day I've spent with my husband (producer Cash Warren).''
Alba attended the Los Angeles premiere earlier this week with Warren, with whom she has a 19-month-old daughter, Honor.
Kutcher, 32 - who plays a romantic florist in the movie - was joined by wife Moore, 47, on the red carpet tonight.
He denied hating Valentine's Day, as he has said in previous interviews, claiming: ''I'm a fan of Valentine's Day. One of my best friends is a florist so I've been trying to play a florist for a while, because I was excited to highlight his skills. The character is so romantic - he's the messenger of love.''
Director Marshall also attended the premiere with his wife, Barbara, along with stars of the movie Topher Grace, Hector Elizondo and Emma Roberts.
Valentine's Day, which also stars Julia Roberts, Shirley MacLaine, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel and Jamie Fox, is released in cinemas tomorrow.

Jessica Alba Cozies Up to Ashton for Valentine's Day...2010

Jessica Alba Cozies Up to Ashton for Valentine's Day...2010

Nothing like a little extra-marital flirting to kick off Valentine's Day weekend.

Showing up for the London premiere of the romantic comedy Valentine's Day, 28-year-old Jessica Alba cozied up to her co-star Ashton Kutcher, 32, in plain view of his 47-year-old wife, Demi Moore on the red carpet.

During the wintry weather photo shoot, she teasingly wrapped herself in Kutcher's overcoat, according to the UK's Daily Telegraph.

But Alba was quick to profess her love for her husband, producer Cash Warren.

"The best Valentine's Day I have ever had is every Valentine's Day I've spent with my husband," she said.

In the movie, Kutcher plays a florist who proposes to his girlfriend, played by Alba. The star-studded cast also includes Julia Roberts, Taylor Swift, Queen Latifah and comedian George Lopez, who plays Kutcher's co-worker, and who in December revealed on his show -- only partly in jest -- that a DNA test has shown that Alba is 87 percent European and 13 percent Indigenous American. (See video below)

For his part, Kutcher did his best to backpedal from a prior interview in which he claimed to hate Valentine's Day -- the holiday.

"I'm a fan of Valentine's Day. One of my best friends is a florist so I've been trying to play a florist for a while, because I was excited to highlight his skills. The character is so romantic - he's the messenger of love."
